Is your child’s behaviour getting you down?

We’re here to help!

Children's behaviour looks very different depending on the age and stage they are at. Understanding the developmental context and reasons behind a child's behaviour are often the first steps towards finding a way through it.

Delivered via Zoom, our behaviour consultations provide personalised support to help you navigate the challenges you're facing, whatever they are and whatever age or stage your child is at. Our parent consultations are personalised to fit your individual circumstances, ensuring that you receive the specific support and strategies you need.

You're not alone in your struggles, and there's no judgement in any situation you find yourself in. Our consultants provide a compassionate and supportive environment to explore your concerns and find effective solutions.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

There's no "right" time to ask

There's no right or wrong moment to ask for support, and no particular level your child's behaviour has to reach before booking a consultation. What matters is how things feel for you and your family and whether some guidance, reassurance or practical support would help.

Some families come to us once things feel overwhelming and hard to manage day to day. Others get in touch much earlier, wanting advice before small concerns turn into bigger ones. Both are equally good reasons to reach out.

Signs a consultation could help:

  • Behaviour that's persistent, escalating, or affecting family life more broadly

  • Behaviour at school that's raising concerns with teachers or other carers

  • A sense that nothing you try is working, or that you're running out of ideas

  • Behaviour that feels out of step with what you'd expect for your child's age

  • Wanting an impartial, knowledgeable perspective to talk things through with

You don't need to be in crisis to get in touch. Often, the most useful support happens early, before patterns have had the chance to set in.

GETTING STARTED

Where do you even start?

Everyone has an opinion on children's behaviour, from well-meaning relatives to parenting accounts with millions of followers, and a lot of it contradicts itself. One camp says ignore the tantrum; the next says never let it go unaddressed. One says stick to the naughty step; another says ditch consequences altogether and focus on connection. No wonder so many parents end up second-guessing every decision.

Our consultants cut through the noise. We draw on real developmental science and years of hands-on experience with real families, not whichever parenting trend happens to be loudest this month, to help you find an approach that actually fits your child's temperament and your family's values.

Whether you've read every book and tried every method, or you genuinely don't know where to start, we'll help you find your way through it.

WHO IS THIS FOR

What ages does this relate to?

18 months+

Preparing to start or showing early signs

Toddlers

Feeling stuck or navigating a specific challenge

School age & beyond

Managing regression or later training — no judgement

Behaviour difficulties in school-age children can be more complicated and may have several causes. Common concerns include aggression, refusing to cooperate, conflict between siblings or peers, and behaving very differently at home and at school.

If you're not sure whether what you're seeing is typical for your child's age, our consultants can help you understand the developmental context and find the right approach.
