Parent - Bespoke Family Sleep Seminar
“When we saw the seminar for tackling sleep problems, we jumped at it. To be honest we’ve been struggling a fair bit with our little one, and with a new addition to the family we really wanted to try to get it right from the start. More sleep for everyone please! The seminar was great, and Claire really knew her stuff. She started off by covering the science, translated that into some practical applications, and then finished with a good sleep routine. Throughout we were all able to ask questions, so got some great personal tips, as well as benefitting from discussing everyone’s experiences. So, where are we going wrong – all over the place! My biggest takeaway - turns out we all actually wake up 4-5 times a night (who knew), so we need to build in good sleep associations, so that our girl can get back to sleep without us. So no milk in bed (it won’t be there when she wakes up), no rocking or stroking to sleep (we won’t be there in the middle of the night), no cuddles from Mummy or Daddy to get to sleep (we won’t be there in the middle of the night – be strong!)…. I had half a dozen light bulb moments, and some of the changes we’ve made are already beginning to bring benefits.”
