“Our 20 month-old daughter had for some time been waking and crying 3-4 times every night and rising at 0530 each morning. She would stand up immediately in her cot and not lie herself back down until one of us went in and physically helped her. Creaky floorboards made the escape from her room painstaking each time; she could not settle without one of us in the room, and we were losing hours of our own sleep every night.
Luckily for us, a friend recommended Bespoke Family to us. Rebekah responded to our initial email the same evening and we were booked in for a Zoom call with Claire the following day. She was very understanding, speaking us through the issue from our daughter’s perspective and through the options that we could take. Without pressure, together we came to what we thought was the best plan for us.
On reflection after a few days, we decided we wanted to tweak the method, so got in touch again and had another chat the same day. Claire was non-judgemental, full of reassurance and certainly gave us the conviction of our methods! Clearly well read on her specialist subject, she recommended books which we may find interesting or useful. Claire continued to provide reassuring support and advice until we were comfortable that we and our daughter had settled well into the plan. It was amazing aftercare and made a huge difference.
We are all still learning, but our toddler now self-settles and sleeps through the night. Our home is a happier place and our daughter is thriving as a result. The well-being of the child and the family as a whole is clearly at the forefront of Bespoke Family’s service.
